Coronavirus Pandemic | School Closures | Day One | Kids Activity Ideas
Today marks the first day of statewide School Closures in the State of Maryland due to the Coronavirus Pandemic Crisis that our nation and the world is facing. Most of the adults today have never encountered such crisis during their lifetime let alone the millennials and our young kids (generation Z and beyond).
During this national emergency, school closures and unprecedented circumstances; kids will be home and with all activates canceled they will spend most of their time indoors. Some classes will be conducted online when and if appropriate and some classes will stay on hold while schools are closed. How can we keep kids engaged and focused during this time off from school and ensure that they are safe, learning and enjoying their time at home? How can we keep our school age kids on track with their education during these times?
I will share with you some educational & fun activities or resources during these crises in hopes to keep our kids learning and active.
